WOW! Is it really December already? Christmas is just around the corner :) My FAVORITE time of year!
So much has happened since I posted over a freakin month ago!!!!!!
Akira lost FOUR baby teeth. Both top and both bottom front ones. She looks so adorable with her huge gap in the front of her mouth. And she has been telling Santa all she wants for Christmas are her teeth, lol! I had to tell her that she should tell Santa what toys she wants because Santa is a toy maker NOT a tooth maker. She doesn't care though, she is sick of people telling her they know what she wants for Christmas (her teeth) so I guess she is really hoping they grow in sooner than later.
We had some big snow this weekend that I was not expecting but thats okay because I love the snow and hope (as always) for a white Christmas.
I have been listening to Christmas music non stop! Christmas is my all time favorite time of the year. Not just because of the presents (although they are nice) but because of the cheer most people have and the Christmas music, the lights and decorations and overall what Christmas stands for. I have been trying to explain to Akira about baby Jesus and I think she semi gets it as much as a 6 year old can. We went to a really neat Santa's Workshop/Live nativity scene last weekend and she really enjoyed it. That is another thing I love about Christmas, the Church plays and shows and Live Nativity scenes. They always make me cry!
Akira's Christmas list has gotten as big as she is. She wants Ponies, Polly Pockets, Littlest Pet Shops, Bratz, Ds Games, Wii Games, HER OWN CELL PHONE ( so she can text people!), makeup, and the list goes on! She is lucky mommy starts her shopping early, lol.
It makes me so sad to think about the people struggling to even buy food, let alone Christmas gifts (thanks for everything George Bush, can't wait to see ya go). If I won the lottery today I would help as many people as I could and wouldn't think twice about it. I cry reading the stories on Craigslist about people needing help and I really wish I could do something to help. In the past I have adopted families but unfortunately money does not allow for that this year and it sincerely breaks my heart.
SO anyways, on a different note: I AM SO HAPPY BARACK OBAMA WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, I was thinking about moving out of the US if Sarah Palin won (and it would have been her winning because McCain would have probably dropped dead from excitement on election night). I watched the debates, I watched the interviews and I just could not believe they would actually pick her to run for VP. WOW! At least I was obviously not the only one who thought that as obviously (and thank God) Obama won.
Blah Blah Blah. I am not really all about elections and politics. This was actually the first one I have been involved with and excited to vote on so I am happy it turned out the way I wanted it to.
Okay, the weight loss......HAS BEEN AWESOME! I feel great. I have energy. I can wear jeans I have had since before I had my daughter SIX years ago! My face has cleared up (and I have had acne for years!), I can actually run after my daughter and catch her without having to stop and rest, lol! Seriously, it is great and I LOVE IT! I am going to post some before and after pics eventually. If anyone wants to try it, I highly, highly recommend it. It is called Fat Loss for Idiots and you can get it here! I highly recommend it. It is easy, delicious and did I mention easy to follow?
I am also working on a website to list ALL of the work from home opportunities that I have found. Not the shitty scams that you have to pay for. I am talking about legitimate, actual companies that pay people to work from home, so be on the lookout for the links to that in the near future.
Well, I am off to bed.
